Don Leone

PGA Director of Instruction 

Recently voted one of Northern California’s top ten Instructors of 2005 and selected as one of Silicon Valley’s top instructor of 2003-2004. Don’s career spans over 25 years of golf instruction. He now serves as the Director of Instruction at Coyote Creek Golf Club. Don has worked with such renowned instructors as Jim Flick and Hank Haney. He currently is a lead instructor for the ESPN Golf schools working throughout the U.S. and in 2001 was the lead instructor for the Nicklaus/Flick Faults and Cure Schools aPGAt Coyote Creek. He also was the lead instructor for the Nike National Junior Golf Camps in 1997 - 1998. For the past seven years Don has worked with Los Gatos Community Hospital helping stroke and accident patients play golf for therapy. Don’s instructional tips and articles can be found each week in local publications and newspapers.





 

Rich Bin

PGA Director of Golf

Rich has been a PGA Golf Professional for the past 16 years.  Having come from a Top 100 Golf Shop in Northern California, Rich brings a lot of experience in Merchandising, Teaching and Club Fitting to Coyote Creek.  Rich’s teaching is based PGAon his life long learning of playing golf with some of the best players in Northern California.  Combining playing and practicing to bring out the best in every student.  He believes the having the right equipment along with solid practice habits will help everyone reach their playing goals.



Bill Menkemeller

Golf Instructor/Club Fitter

Bill has been in the golf business since 1979.  As co-owner of one of America’s Top 100 Golf Shops since 1981, he became one of the area’s premier club fitters.  According to Bill, in order to be a great club fitter, you have to recognize good and bad golf swings.  Therefore, he began his second career as a golf instructor. Combining good club fitting with the basic fundamentals of the golf swing, anyone can improve their game.  He believes in using the student’s inbred hand-eye coordination to help them achieve their golfing goals.
